yes!

just finished my final project for 3d class.  after my critique tomorrow morning, my fall semester will be done.  this semester has been the hardest for me. i'm getting my first B :( in graphic design..

in other related school news, i got a top score on a online quiz on logos and won a poster. i kind of feel bad for taking the prize away from the kids but i was a little proud. :)

also when the teacher asked the class which final campaigns they liked, a kid said he liked my california one. crazy!

i don't think i will ever be successful at graphic design because i can't properly judge my work?

well i'll miss my classes but can't wait to clean the house (it hasn't been cleaned in forever), finally turn off the computer (been on for a month!) and start to pack for okc. yaay!

weekend

I never realize how much I like being home unless I've been somewhere really different for a while. -Juno

we are heading to Oklahoma for the weekend.  Adam's dad is hosting an engagement party for us.  we are both pretty nervous. Hope you are having a good birthday!

We are still in our hotel in Traverse City.. well we have to start packing again. Saturday we leave for San Francisco, then we are heading to a little family reunion in Seattle with Adam's family. Adam has a couple cousin's who live there and few aunts/uncles will be flying out there. The last part of our trip is Oklahoma City to relax and visit his grandparents. Very exciting.

Maud

adam and i spent a peaceful afternoon in Maud, Oklahoma with his uncle Butch and Aunt Barb. they always have yummy snacks ready for us. These are photo's of their frozen pond. I walked on it for a second but it started to crack. They have a panther that visit's their property.


we took a walk around their land. Butch and Barb stayed inside because they were cold.

last minute packing, sorting and we will be off tomorrow morning. merry christmas and happy early birthday to my brother!

i better get on packing.. i need clothes for outdoor, warm weather, cold weather, and for fancy dinners.. i would hate to overpack.... wish me luck.

Maud

We traveled to adam's uncle's house in Maud, Oklahoma during thanksgiving weekend. Maud is a small town east of Oklahoma city. His uncle owns more than 160acres of land which has been in the Merkle family for generations. The place is sooo pretty.caroline's boots.
