is that guy famous?

we had brunch at madame matisse a few days. in walks a dude i think is garrett hedlund but i'm not sure.  we made eye contact (only because i was staring at him like a weirdo, do i know him?). he has a conversation with the waitress.  pays for his food and leaves (in a different state license plate rental- a highlander or some sort of car).

after he leaves, the waitress says, "is he famous? he comes in here all the time.  his name is garrett hedlund."

i tell the waitress, "he is not really famous but kirsten dunst is his girlfriend."  he's also currently in on the road.  he looks like a regular dude, i'm sure he doesn't get noticed at all.

he was in that gwyneth paltrow country movie..

day two: nashville

we start our day brunching at marche artisan foods.  they are known for "taking you out of nashville for a little while."  adam orders the potato/pastrami hash and i order the special mushroom omelette.  i see a hip guy in all black getting out of a car. i think to myself that guy kind of looks like jack white. i look a little closer, it is him.

i tell adam, "don't look but it's jack white." adam loves jack white. he's been into him and the white stripes for a long time. he looks at me like "yeah right" but looks back out the window. he panics a little.  it was pretty funny.  he couldn't eat his food after he came in.  adam had the perfect view from where we were sitting.  karen elson joins the group after a little bit. she is one of my favorite models but looked really plain and small (not at all model-like).

oh yeah, we saw another psuedo celebrity.  all these tourists were going crazy and we see cameras... the couple from big world little people?  i dunno. i took a picture of i think i deleted it because i didn't know what it was..

so we saw brad goreski from rachel zoe project at a restaurant in puerto vallarta.  he was seated next to us for a little bit. 

  i haven't watched his new show. do you know if its any good?

offerman woodshop

Do you watch Parks and Recreation? we watch it pretty religiously here. Adam's favorite character is Ron Swanson. huge fan of breakfast meats.

Adam was super excited when we saw Nick Offerman at a restaurant in Oklahoma City. He was eating dinner next to us with his wife Megan Mullaly (who went to the same prep school as Adam). I think Adam wishes he were more like nick offerman. tough and outdoorsy.

nick offerman has a woodshop. he sells things online. i kind of want to buy adam the mustache comb but i feel $75 might be too steep for a joke gift...

my dream last night

i had a dream last night. i never remember my dreams but this one i remember vividly?

"adam and i had a fight the day before (in my dream) and so i stopped wearing my engagement ring. the next day i went to class  (art history) and you (toshiro) were my classmate. i started talking to the person on the other side of me. he asks me out.. and i say, "if my boyfriend and i break-up." well.. the dude that asks me out is spike jonze (also an adam in real life fyi)."

you were so mad at me for flirting. it was pretty funny. adam liked my dream.


i just asked adam if i could go out with spike. he said yes, "it would be a good opportunity." haha
