japanese lunch (sort of)

I made miso soup for the first time in my life! okay, okay.. not really a big deal but i am pretty excited. I also cooked some rice and reheated some leftover pork tenderloin with a little soy sauce. Yaay!On another note, mom gave me these umeboshi treat's the last time I was home. I hate umeboshi and I told her that. She said these are good and just try them. I didn't believe her but I brought them with me on our road trip to Traverse City. They were pretty good. Mom's are never wrong, I guess.. except that one time she said popcorn ceilings were because of earthquakes in California (truth: gross 70's style).
