yesterday we started our day at cafe 101. i read on yelp that everyone should try the sweet potato fries. i decided that i wanted fries with my salmon scramble. the fries were absolutely delish but the portion is a little large for two people. we took them to go and they were still edible the next day.


today i went to philippe's for some french dip sandwiches. we then walked around olvera street. it was pretty hot so we decided to catch a matinee. we drove by the vista and with perfect timing the movie i wanted to see was playing there.





across the universe is such a wonderful film. it warms the heart.
