walking shoes

I want to look stylish especially when we are heading to New York.  The weather report said that it was going to be rainy and a little bit cold, so I decided to bring my swedish hasbeens.  They are pretty comfortable straight out of the box.

These boots have been popular with Brooklyn/Tomboy celebrity set (ie. Chloe Sevigny, Michelle Williams, SJP, etc).

I guess I should remember that when we head to a city, we will be doing a ton of walking.  Anyway, we missed a bus to a subway stop so we ended up walking to that stop.. plus walking around the MOMA, my feet were killing me.  We made a stop to the Niketown and Adam bought me some new sneakers. Spoiled!

I got a ton of compliments from waitresses and strangers on the street.  Adam said that he would see people looking towards us but they were checking out my shoes.  Adam said he wanted to tell them, "she ain't that cool." Haha.

Anyway, note to self: ALWAYS bring sneakers to NY.

i totally love these shirts. they are lightweight and perfect for summer travels. i typically do not wear neon or any color for that matter.. but these shirts i really loved.  i can't buy them though because adam called me a shopaholic and i want to prove him wrong.  i'm only going to buy necessities from now on.

sick

adam and i are both sick. we had big plans this weekend. we were going to take a 2 hour drive to troy to buy our wedding rings. dun dun duun.  we pushed back our plans to next week?  adam is a little happy, he has a ton of work to grade.

i'm a little happy too. i would rather be 100% to do some shopping. i want a mouse for my laptop.

post edit: i am sooo glad we decided to stay in this weekend. two days in bed/on couch i am still miserable.  it is my first time being sick in mount pleasant. i finished off two boxes of tissues. i have to go to class tomorrow. feeling awful...

tree shopping

last weekend we went shopping for a christmas tree. there is a tree farm a few miles from our house called Schaeffer's tree farm. We bought our tree from them last year too.

yea, i notice everything.  like when we went to the pumpkin patch i saw a dead mouse on the ground.  i wish i wasn't so observant.

we won't be able to enjoy the tree too long so we got a small one. 

i just ordered me some pink headphones. ladidaa.  i hope they fit my head.

adam ordered my favorite la maison du chocolat's for valentine's day.

he bought me the bigger box because i said the half pound is not big enough. adam listen's to my many demands. i am a lucky girl.
