l'as du falafel

Day Two:
We had rain all day... making day two a museum day. today we went to the pompidou and picasso museum. it was really exciting to see paintings studied in high school in real life. picasso's blue period was so gorgeous. the pompidou had a special exhibit of alexander calder and kandinsky.

In between the two museums, we had lunch at L'as du Falafel in the french jewish quarter. It was sooo good.

Paris Trip Day One

it is 4am in paris. can't sleep because of jet lag?random photos from day one of our paris trip. we arrived in paris at about 11am and lunched at le duex magots which i read somewhere that people dined at the famous cafe de flore with their families and had their mistresses (or misters) at le duex magots for convenience.
we also visited the catacombs day one. six million anonymous people lay in the caves underneath.
paris is so lovely, it feels like i never left.. i'll update with more pictures tomorrow.
